♦ Yotsui Seimen Chuka Soba is a traditional dried noodle made by steaming and drying fresh Chinese noodles in a bamboo steamer. They are sun-dried in the sun and sea breeze, using a long-term aging process that preserves the noodles’ natural flavour. When boiled, they develop a chewy, springy texture.
♦ Boils in approximately 3 minutes and can be used in a variety of dishes, such as ramen, sara udon and yakisoba.
♦ Chuka Soba is widely regarded as the original form of what is now known as ramen, originating when Chinese noodle dishes were first adapted in Japan.
♦ No soup base or seasoning packet included.
